The Hong Kong Institute of Housing (HKIH) has arranged a webinar for HKIH members and PMSA licensees with details as below:

Content | Mediation is increasingly used in housing management to handle disputes early, preserve neighbourly relations and reduce complaints. Government and regulators also encourage mediation in areas such as interfloor water seepage and building management conflicts. This webinar will, through real cases in residential estates, show how housing managers can: l Apply basic mediation skills in interfloor water seepage and neighbour disputes l Communicate with owners, occupiers and owners’ corporations more effectively l Facilitate practical, win–win settlements that can be implemented in daily management Participants will gain practical, frontline tips to integrate mediation into routine complaint-handling and dispute resolution at estates. |
Speaker | Mr. TANG Shun-yin, Maverick
Mr. Tang is an experienced housing and property management professional with extensive residential management experience. He is an Accredited Mediator on the General Panels of HKMAAL and HKIAC and is listed as a mediator at the Lands Tribunal and the Small Claims Tribunal. He is also a Property Management Practitioner (Tier 1), Registered Professional Housing Manager, Member of HKIH, Chartered Member of CIH, and Member of CIArb. |
