Content | Hong Kong experiences an average of six to eight tropical cyclones annually. Coupled with the increasing frequency of extreme weather in recent years, severe typhoons have caused significant damage to urban infrastructure. For the property management industry, adopting a scientific approach to tree management and implementing well-planned pre- and post-disaster response strategies can substantially reduce losses and improve the efficiency of recovery efforts. |
Speaker | Mr. Edmond Wong, Arborist and a Council Member and Secretary of the Hong Kong Institute of Horticultural Science.
Mr. Wong is a seasoned property and facility manager who is also a certified arborist. He will share his professional insights and practical experience to help enhance the industry’s preparedness and resilience in the face of typhoon-related challenges. |
