Invitation to Seminar on the Pilot Scheme on Quiet Renovation
Domestic renovation noise has been a concern in the community. The Environmental Protection Department has launched a Pilot Scheme on Quiet Renovation to promote the use of quiet renovation equipment and encourages the setup of specific house rules for good and quiet domestic renovation practices.
The Pilot Scheme will be ongoing until 2023. There will be a series of seminars and site demonstrations on introducing guidelines on managing quiet renovation and quiet renovation equipment. A free rental scheme is also launched to encourage utilisation of quiet renovation equipment.
In this connection, we cordially invite you and your colleagues to join our upcoming event, the “Seminar on the Pilot Scheme on Quiet Renovation”:

This Seminar will include a live demonstration on the use of quiet renovation equipments on concrete crushing, tiles removal, coring, anchor fixing, brick cutting, and grooving/channelling, which cover:
- introduction and operation of each equipment
- demonstration of equipment working on the concrete wall/brick wall/tiled wall
- tips and cautionaries on using the equipment
Free Quiet Renovation Equipment Rental Scheme
Free rental of quiet renovation equipment is available. Details of the rental scheme will be provided during the Seminar.

該先導計劃將會持續⾄2023年。「寧靜裝修先導計劃」包括⼀系列的座談會及實地示範，介紹有關寧靜裝修管理及寧靜裝修設備。此外，免費租借寧靜裝修設備的計劃亦已推出，鼓勵及推廣寧靜裝修設備的使用。
